During my Christmas stay at Pazo de Esposende, I was greeted by the warm hospitality of Candido, ensuring a delightful and personalized experience. the exquisite 16th-century manor house, nestled near the Avia River, boasts charming rooms equipped with modern amenities such as heating and air conditioning, promising a cozy retreat. We enjoyed the inviting lounge areas featuring a fireplace, TV, and a reading nook, perfect for unwinding after a day of cycling or hiking in the idyllic surroundings. Our suite with two balconies and a private garden offered a picturesque view of the valley, creating a serene ambiance that made us wish for a longer stay. Candido's friendly recommendations, from a homely lunch spot to arranging transport to the renowned Restaurant Sabrego, added a personal touch to our visit. the attention to detail extended to the room's comfy bed, well-appointed bathroom, and a scrumptious breakfast of fresh juice, fruits, and pastries that left us satisfied. The property's proximity to Ribadavia and the Prexigueiro hot springs allowed us to explore the beauty of the region effortlessly. Beyond the charming village of Esposende, a short drive led us to cultural gems like Santiago de Compostela and the stunning Rias Baixas, enriching our travel experience. With every corner exuding Spanish grace and contemporary comforts, Pazo de Esposende's allure is further heightened by its garden, terrace, and on-site bar, ensuring moments of relaxation and indulgence. the seamless fusion of Spanish architecture and thoughtful amenities, including a private entrance, a minibar, and a seating area, resonated with my design sensibilities, elevating our stay to a memorable escape. Whether you seek a tranquil retreat or a base to explore Ourense and Castrelo de Miño Nautic Club, this hidden gem promises a harmonious blend of comfort and style.
